In order to secure all that is best in the education of your children.
Parents are expected to co-operate with the school authorities by enforcing regularity and discipline. By seeing that the children prepare their lessons. By taking an active interest in the activities of the school and by making them come to school in a clean uniform.
In particular, parents or guardians are understood to have entrusted the principal with the authority to correct and guide at his/her reasonable discretion.
Parents are hereby informed that occasional reports from the teachers are conveniently sent through the calendar. They are requested to sign them, which tells that parents have read them.
Parents are particularly expected to sign messages, progress reports, monthly reports, or any other similar documents when so requested. Failure to do this may put their children in great inconvenience. They should also keep an eye on the attendance record.
Should there be any infectious disease at home, parents should report the fact to the principal at once and should not send the child to class till the danger of infection has passed. Any major health problem that hinders your child’s/ward’s performance should be brought to the notice of the principal through a written application and medical certificate etc. As early as possible.
Withdrawal of your children from class for mere social functions is not recommended, because it retards the progress in school and minimizes their interest in regular hard work, with consequent failure to progress in studies.
However, parents desiring to take their child early during school hours fill the exit permission in the calendar and take permission from the principal.
The engagement of private tutors may prove injurious to real progress and should not be made without consulting the principal.
Staff members may not accept tuitions without the previous sanction of the principal. Tuition should not be given by the class teacher/subject teacher the student the same subject.
Parents, guardians, or other persons are not allowed to see pupils or interview their teachers during school hours without the permission of the principal. They should address their complaints or grievances to the principal, and not to the teacher.
Parents and guardians are expected to daily examine the calendar of their children/ward for any remarks and control and direct their children in their conduct and studies.
Criticism of your children’s teacher or school in their presence should be avoided because it causes them to lose their respect for their teachers with a consequent failure to learn from those teachers. Should you have a legitimate complaint see the principal early.
As your children advance in age, they become resourceful and useful members of both home and country. Guide them to realize that they are responsible to the school authorities not only for their conduct in the school but also for their general behavior outside. Any reported or observed objectionable conduct out of the school on the part of the pupils will make them liable for disciplinary action.
The children must learn through their parents to look upon the school as an extension to their home and to do their best to cherish and preserve in school a spirit of love and happy living.
Any child who is admitted to our school should compulsorily participate in school games, even beyond school hours.
