No leave of absence is granted except on previously written applications from parents or guardians, and that too, only for serious reasons. This should be inserted in the leave record page of the school calendar.
In case of absence without leave, the students on returning to school must produce the reason for absence certified by his/her parents. A student returning to school after a contagious or infectious disease should also produce a doctor’s certificate permitting him/her to do so. The school accepts no responsibility if due to failure in producing such a certificate a student is obliged to return home during class hours. No other form of leave will be accepted.
All are expected to attend school on the re-opening day after the end of the vacation. Absence for more than five days renders the pupils liable to be struck off the rolls.
Students who have been sent away from the school or whose names have been struck off the rolls are, as a rule, not readmitted. In case of re-admission, they will have to pay the entrance fee again.
